We’re thrilled to release our latest artist collaboration: a playful celebration of Cape Town’s wild creatures, bold beauty, and colourful local lingo.
Designed in collaboration with Cape Town artist Jade Klara, the Cape Creatures tea towel collection is a playful nod to the animals that roam our mountains and oceans, but also a light-hearted tribute to South African slang.
Jade’s strong and quirky style brings six iconic animals, the baboon, Cape cobra, dassie, whale, shark, and fish, to life with character and charm.
Whether you’re a local with love for the Cape or a traveller collecting memories, these towels are joyful, functional keepsakes that bring a bit of Cape Town home.
About Jade Klara
Jade Klara is an artist, designer and illustrator based in Cape Town, South Africa. She graduated with a B.A from UCT & a B.A from Vega. Her work is characterised by a strong and feminine style as she plays with whimsical imagery and narrative. Jade Klara currently works from her studio in Bokaap.
