Please note: Unfortunately we do not accept international returns and exchanges.

International prices are exclusive of South African Vat and most countries will charge import taxes and duties on parcels entering from another country. African Jacquard is not responsible for any of these additional customs costs, and it is the customer’s responsibility to pay any customs costs applied by customs in your respective country. 

 DELIVERY IN SOUTH AFRICA 

We deliver door to door via our chosen courier service, and offer the following flat rates:

  • Delivery within South Africa is R150. Delivery time is 2-3working days, and 3-5 working days to outlying areas.
  • Orders over R2500 will qualify for free shipping.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

We offer worldwide shipping. All orders are shipped via Fedex and delivery time is 5-7 working days. We offer the following flat rates: 

Europe:

  • 0-2kg: €30
  • 2,5-5kg: €43
  • 5,5-10kg: €69

United Kingdom:

  • 0-2kg: £27
  • 2,5-5kg: £38
  • 5,5-10kg: £61

All other countries

  • 0-2kg: $35
  • 2,5-5kg: $50
  • 5,5-10kg: $80

TRACKING

All orders are dispatched with a tracking number which will be communicated to you.

PACKAGING

Your order will be shipped with protective, but simple packaging to avoid wasteful paper and plastic use.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS

Items may be returned within 15 days from date of purchase as long as the product is still in its original packaging. If you wish to exchange the product, we shall endeavor to provide you with the requested item subject to availability. If you require a refund, this will be issued to you within 30 days from date of purchase. 

Kindly note that shipping costs are non-refundable and customers are responsible for the costs of returning the items, as well as the cost of resending in the event of an exchange. Unfortunately we do not accept international returns and exchanges.

If there are any complaints due to defects or unsatisfactory goods, please send us a clear photograph and/or a description of the problem and we will take it under consideration.  Defect items must be communicated with us within 7 days. Once a default is confirmed we will arrange for collection of the default item, and a full refund will be issued., or we will resend the item. 

MANUFACTURE

African Jacquard provides you with a unique range of locally woven products. The use of natural fibres in our products may result in slight weave and manufacturing irregularities. 

We have made every effort to ensure that colours depicted for products on our website match the actual product. There may be colour variations due to screen resolutions or lighting.

For items manufactured from 100% cotton, shrinkage of 5-7% may occur after the first wash.

CARE

We recommend that products are washed separately for the first time at 60°c. Shrinkage of 5-7% may occur due to the use of natural fibres. These will naturally expand making the product softer and more absorbent with washing. We advise to wash products as soon as possible in order to avoid stains. Powder detergent should be completely dissolved in water and not applied directly to the material. Beware of detergent containing blueing agents or whiteners as they may modify colours.

When drying, avoid direct sunlight as this may affect the intensity of colours.

Tumble dry for 100% cotton , and blends of cotton and linen, should be avoided to minimize shrinkage to occur.

Tumble dry for 100% linen  is advised.
