Description

Our Fabric Face Masks comes in two sizes: Adult and Child. They are composed of three layers: the outer parts are 100% cotton and the middle layer is made of a filtering fabric – which creates a more effective barrier. One large, adjustable elastic makes the masks easy to take on and off.

The masks are white on the inside and display colorful African Jacquard patterns on the outside. This helps to avoid mixing masks with family members and remembering which side should be on the face. Their well-covering shape makes them comfortable, protective and stable. Thanks to the adjustable elastic, the masks fit everyone.

Disclaimer

Our masks are not surgical masks, and cannot guarantee not contracting the virus. They are a first-barrier and prevent from coughing or sneezing onto others and from being directly exposed to other persons’ projections. Masks also remind not to touch your face.

How to put on and remove a face mask

Disposable face masks should be used once and then thrown in the trash. You should also remove and replace masks when they become moist.

Always follow product instructions on use and storage of the mask, and procedures for how to put on and remove a mask.  If instructions for putting on and removing the mask are not available, then follow the steps below.

How to put on a face mask

  1. Clean your hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer before touching the mask.
  2. Determine which side of the mask is the front. The coloured side of the mask is usually the front and should face away from you, while the white side touches your face.
  3. Follow the instructions below for the type of mask you are using.
    • Face Mask with Ear loops: Hold the mask by the ear loops. Place a loop around each ear.
    • Face Mask with Ties: Bring the mask to your nose level and place the ties over the crown of your head and secure with a bow.
  4. Pull the bottom of the mask over your mouth and chin.

How to remove a face mask

  1. Clean your hands with soap and water or hand sanitizer before touching the mask. Avoid touching the front of the mask. The front of the mask is contaminated. Only touch the ear loops or ties.
  2. Follow the instructions below for the type of mask you are using.
    • Face Mask with Ear loops: Hold both ear loops and gently lift and remove the mask.
    • Face Mask with Ties: Untie the bottom the top bow, loosen the bottom elastic and slip the mask over your head, holding the elastics and not touching the front of your mask.
  1. Wash your hands and face immediately after removing mask.
  2. For best results in cleaning masks – immediately upon removing, spray the front and back with hydrogen peroxide to kill germs, then wash in soap and hot water.
