African Jacquard provides you with a unique range of locally woven products. The use of natural fibres in our products may result in slight weave and manufacturing irregularities.

We have made every effort to ensure that colours depicted for products on our website match the actual product. There may be colour variations due to screen resolutions or lighting.

Composed of 100% cotton, shrinkage of 5-7% may occur after the first wash.


We recommend that products are washed separately for the first time at 60°c. Shrinkage of 5-7% may occur due to the use of natural fibres. These will naturally expand making the product softer and more absorbent with washing. We advise to wash products as soon as possible in order to avoid stains. Powder detergent should be completely dissolved in water and not applied directly to the material. Beware of detergent containing blueing agents or whiteners as they may modify colours.

When drying, avoid direct sunlight as this may affect the intensity of colours.

Refunds and Returns

If you are no longer content with your purchase, you are welcome to return the item to us as long as it is in the original packaging and is unused, within 15 days from the date of purchase. If you wish to exchange the product, we shall endeavour to provide you with the requested item subject to availability. If you require a refund, this will be issued to you 30 days from date of purchase. Cancellation of any orders will attract a 10% administration charge. Kindly note that shipping costs are non-refundable.

If there are any complaints due to defect or unsatisfactory goods, please send us a clear photograph and, or a description of the problem and we will take it from there. Please note that it is your responsibility for the safe delivery of defect/ unwanted items. Defect items must be returned to us within 14 days and a full refund will be issued after inspection, alternatively you are welcome to choose a difference product to the value of the purchase.
